This spacious villa overlooking a beautiful Umbrian valley has been fully restored and now features welcoming rooms and offers all the modern conveniences. Campo Rinaldo is found in a secluded position on a hill, reached by a private driveway off the local road. The property has outstanding panoramic views of the surrounding Umbrian countryside and nearby villages. Campo Rinaldo has comfortable furniture with several communal areas where guests can relax together.
The villa overlooks the Apennine Mountains on one side and local villages atop the Umbrian hills on the other. The house has several porches and patios making it easy to live outdoors as much as you like, yet offers great comfort the moment you step inside. The villa interior is contemporary and spacious with an open-plan kitchen leading to a dining and living area focused around a handsome stone and wood fireplace. Though there is a formal front entry hall located between the two large living rooms, a more natural entrance is into the kitchen via a covered patio.
This patio is furnished both for outdoor dining as well as relaxing on the sofa in front of the large outdoor fireplace. The open-plan of this house is immediately evident when you step inside; it is not a house of doors and tight places, but one where sunlight and people move freely. The well-equipped kitchen is spacious and cook-friendly. Just beyond is a table seating 10 and a large living room with comfortable sofas and another open fireplace. You will find this to be a nice room in which to relax, read or plan your next day's activities. French doors at the dining area lead to another furnished terrace under a pergola facing towards the pool.
A second sitting room in the center of the house has an open fireplace, comfortable furniture and TV. French doors provide views and access to an inner courtyard with two shaded walkways.
Throughout the house you will find a lovely mixture of antique furniture and modern fittings. Beautiful beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors blend well with the natural materials and the soft colours used Views from the roman shaped swimming pool (16m x 4m) are of the classic umbrian countryside with breathtaking views of the valley. The pool is the right length for laps and has a child's pool (1,5x3 meters) for those who prefer to splash and paddle.
A covered area runs the length of the swimming pool with comfortable garden furniture and barbeque. A spacious terracotta patio with sun-beds and sofas beside the pool makes it a tempting place to linger and store up your share of the Umbrian sun. Villa Campo Rinaldo is perfectly situated for exploring some of Umbria's hidden gems and will welcome you home after a long day of sightseeing.
